And the SPIRIT of God moved upon the face of the water”.(Genesis 1:1,2) Today’s message is for some one who is going through some stuff that has made him to wonder if God the creator of the universe is still up there. I have no idea about what it is, but I have goodnews for you: there is solution from the throne of Grace. May I put it to you, dear friend, that you are not alone in this matter as many all over the world have gone through even worse situations, but came out with testimonies. Your own will not be an exception. God is no respecter of persons- what he did for one, he can do for all . I have discovered from our text that even God went through an adverse situation after creating the heaven and earth. The holy book records that the whole earth was without form and void (meaning that it was shapeless and empty), and darkness was upon the face of the deep. But thank God for His Spirit who was in absolute control as He “…. moved upon the face of the waters”. If I tell you that I really understand what you are going through, I would be lying, but one thing is sure: The Spirit of God has neither waned in his power, nor failed in His duties he is just about to change that chaotic situation, if you let Him. Only do not give up or try to kill yourself. Suicide is simply a coward's way of handling matters. I challenge you to refuse to give up. Lift up your hands right now and shout: “I shall not die but live and DECLARE the works of the Lord.” This year will not be like last year. This year, you will have some assets to declare. God is prepared to take you to the top even if it means replacing someone in a certain position with you. Did you notice that the only difference between last year and this year is that the zero in 2010 has been replaced with the number “one” to make it 2011. I advice your enemies to get ready for a show down. I see the Spirit of Jehovah taking over your academics. No longer shall you be a customer to Examination bodies. I guess I am talking to someone who, each time you take WAEC, they play you WAYO, when you attempt NECO, they cut you NECK, and when you try JAMB, you are JAMMED down. The Spirit has come to your rescue. The next time you attempt that examination, you will come out with flying colours. The only people I pity are the commercial cyclists or motorists plying ATIKU ABUBAKAR WAY, because they are about to lose one customer, as you will no longer be going to JAMB office. Someone is reading this piece now, who usually gets sick close to examination time, and get well immediately the examination is over. You even read without understanding or recalling what you read. This is a way of Satan vowing that there will be no graduate in your family. But I have bad news for the devil and all his hell's cohorts. You will not only graduate, you will proceed for your YOUTH SERVICE in a favourable State. When you finish, you will be retained at your duty post and you will choose whether to accept it or not. You will not look for jobs; rather, jobs will look for you. As the spirit of Jehovah broods over the waters of your destiny this year, I see the spirit of PROMISE AND FAIL (what I call SPIRITUAL BREAK AND QUENCH) quit your life. Near success syndrome (“He Almost married me,” “I was Almost employed,” “I Almost got the contract,” “I was Almost appointed into the cabinet,” “I Almost passed the exam,” etc.) is terminated in your life. What ever makes people hate you for no just cause, whatever covers you that people can't see you to favour you, whatever makes people always repay you evil for your good, has died a natural death now! Whatever and whoever has vowed that you will never march to the altar for your wedding .will be put to shame because, you will not only marry you will be fruitful. This is not the year to go from hospital to hospital as a result of ill- heath especially if you are a faithful thither. The Holy Spirit is bringing complete healing and total health to you now. As the spirit takes over, Satan will take cover, the big question is: “will you allow the Spirit of God to have full sway of your life this year?” Remember the Holy Spirit moved upon the waters because God allowed him. Most people are aware that when the Spirit takes control, they will be denied the liberty to fornicate, swear, lie, smoke, drink, etc. so they carefully avoid Him. But come to think of it, who stands to benefit if you live a holy life, is it not you? Come of it guy, surrender to the Holy Spirit today, and you will not regret it! |
